Cyberbullying Awareness Campaign

"As it has been reported in the media, 6 young men in the last recent weeks and months have taken their lives due to sexual orientation harassment and bullying in their homes and schools. Their ages range from a college student to a little middle schooler. These six deaths should be a major wake up call for all people, a proof of how the term "bullying" cannot be taken lightly anymore. Today, people all around the world are wearing the color purple to show how this needs to stop, to show the families support, and to get the message out that it is o.k. to be different.

They were all way too young to die, so I ask you to please remember them as you go about your day. PLEASE, consciously think about what you say to people from this day forward."
